”I mean, it was only two weeks ago when almost every white person I knew was tweeting about stopping a brutal African warlord from killing more innocent children. And they even took thirty minutes out of their busy schedules to watch a movie about dude. They bought t-shirts. Some bracelets. Even tweeted at Rihanna to take a stance. But, a 17 year old American kid is followed and then ultimately killed by a neighborhood vigilante who happens to be carrying a semi-automatic weapon and my white friends are quiet. Eerily quiet. Not even a trending topic for the young man.

i’m saying! this situation is both 115 types of horrifying and business as usual.
i will stay on my soapbox regarding trayvon martin bc multiple times i day imagine him, an adorable, loving young man, lying LIFELESS in a FUCKING MORGUE with a GUNSHOT TO HIS CHEST for NO GODDAMN REASON WHATSOVER. imagine that boy dead. like really visualize that shit. you won’t be able to rest after you really think about what’s happened here. fuck. FUCK FUCK FUCKKKKK for real.
i’m judging the HELL out of people who are only finding out about trayvon martin now. and even more so if you know about him and haven’t said even a peep. to the latter: you disgust me. not a joke.
